Will is an extremely promising all-rounder who is not only a lively fast bowler but also a hard hitting batsman who could command a position in the team in either discipline. Despite being a prominent under-age AFL footballer, Will decided to pursue cricket and found himself on both the Victorian and Melbourne Renegades lists at the age of just 18.
In 2016, he captained the Cricket Australia XI that competed in the U19 National Championships and also led the Australian U19 side to victory against Sri Lanka a few months later. In 2017, Will became Victoria's youngest List A debutant in history when he was selected to play against South Australia. He was also Vice-Captain of the Australian U19 team that came runners-up in the 2018 U19 World Cup in New Zealand.
In 2019, Will made his First Class debut for Victoria against Queensland in the Sheffield Shield.
