Will is an extremely talented all-rounder and is one of the most exciting young prospects coming out of Queensland. He’s not only a promising opening bowler but is also very solid middle order batsman who could command a position in the team in either discipline.
2018 was a big year for Will. He represented the U16 Australian team in a series against Pakistan in April. A few months later, he represented Queensland in the U17 National Championships and, after a very solid tournament, he was rewarded with selection in the Cricket Australia XI and competed in the U19 National Championships in Adelaide later that year.
He played in the same U19 carnival the next year, this time representing Queensland, and after some solid performances, he was selected as an emergency for Australia for the U19 World Cup in South Africa the next month.
In 2022, Will made his BBL debut when he was selected to play for the Hobart Hurricanes against the Melbourne Stars at the MCG.
