In 2016, Morgan also ran a personal best time of 51.25 seconds in Birmingham which moved her to 8th place on the Australian 400m all time list. It was the fastest time by an Australian for 13 years. In 2017, she competed in the 400m at the World Athletics Championships in London.
She recently competed in the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games where she made the semi-finals in front of a home crowd. Her ultimate aim is to inspire a new generation of athletes and to be competing, side-by-side with the best 400m runners in the world.
